LauraLynn, Ireland’s only children’s hospice, is calling on the people of Kilkenny to take part in their 150km walking challenge this February.
Whether you’re a daily walker or looking to up your steps as part of your new year’s resolution, there’s something for everyone in this challenge.
LauraLynn currently provides care and supports to more than 460 families and children nationwide with life-limiting conditions.
Since opening in 2011 LauraLynn has provided care and support to 434 families across Leinster.
Those looking to take part can do so in three easy steps:
Speaking about the 150km challenge Cathy White, Community Fundraising Executive at LauraLynn said that the charity are calling on the people across Kilkenny to join thousands of others from all over Ireland who have committed to walking every day while raising vital funds for LauraLynn.
"It’s a challenge that anyone can do, there’s no time limits and you can clock up your kilometres in a way that works for you,” she added.
By signing up you will not only be making a huge impact on the lives of the children and families LauraLynn supports but you will also receive a special LauraLynn t-shirt which will raise awareness for LauraLynn whilst on your walks.
