River View House on the Dublin Road, Kilkenny City
International Systems & Equipment Limited have appealed a local authority decision that refused them planning permission to the change the use of River View House in Kilkenny City from office to retail.
Internal and external plans originally submitted to Kilkenny County Council showed ambition to use the building as a retail unit geared towards cyclists.
Also sought was permission to erect external signage.
Those plans were refused by the local authority on December 20, 2022.
A final decision on the plans following the appeal to An Bord Pleanála is expected by May 29, 2023.
