Hollywood director's collection to go to auction near Kilkenny - click to see some lots!

Sheppard’s of Durrow will sell a collection of extremely valuable watches; period paintings, a diamond worth between €250,000 - €350,000 and elegant pieces of art, many from the Wicklow home of film director John Boorman's home at the end of the month.

The man who gave us films like Excalibur, Deliverance and Hope & Glory placed a lifetime's emphasis on beauty. 

The Sir John Boorman sale offers an assemblage of exceptional jewellery, diamonds, and coloured stones from prominent private collections including a 15 ct. yellow diamond.

The auction will be held over three days, February 28, March 1 and 2 at Sheppard's Irish Auction House, Durrow with previews from February 25 to 27.
