A quantity of 'suspected cocaine' was seized from a car in Kilkenny on Sunday.
"A garda working duties at the Duathlon in Kilkenny on Sunday spotted a car well short of displayed documents," a garda spokesperson said.
"He radioed his supervisor who stopped the vehicle. After a brief chat it was established that the vehicle had been recently purchased and the driver was awaiting log book. All was good.
"That aside though, something still didn't fit and a search under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act uncovered a quantity of suspected cocaine in the passenger's handbag."
