On Wednesday, gardaí in Kilkenny operated five static vehicle checkpoints, including one for mandatory intoxicant testing.
There were twelve speeding tickets given over the course of the day, eight mobile phone tickets, seven tax tickets and one for not wearing a seatbelt.
"That's a whopping 66 points, enough to disqualify a single person over 5 times," a garda spokesperson said.
One vehicle was also seized for multiple offences.
"We won't apologise for ensuring roads are a safer place," gardaí stated.
