Two Kilkenny projects supporting the integration of migrants awarded funding

Two Kilkenny projects supporting the integration of migrants into our community have been granted funding, according to Fine Gael TD, John Paul Phelan.

The announcement was made by Minister of State for Community Development, Integration and Charities, Joe O’Brien, and warmly welcomed by Deputy Phelan.

“Kilkenny has opened its arms to migrants and I’m delighted to see the Mothers & Youth Association and No Name Club in Kilkenny receive €4,500 and €4,655 respectively.

“This fund has been in place for the past six years and helps promote intercultural awareness, combats racism and xenophobia and helps finance sport and community games, arts, food/cuisine and so much more.”
