Rings found near Slievenamon
A set of valuable rings have been found at a popular hiking spot near the Kilkenny-Tipperary border, and the finder thinks the owner could be from Kilkenny.
Joanne O'Dwyer has posted on Facebook to appeal to anyone who can help to try and reunite the jewellery with its rightful owner.
The rings were found near Joanne's home about a week ago. Although admitting it might be a long shot, she's hoping the power of Irish social media links can get these lovely rings back to their owner.
In her post Joanne says the rings may have fell out of a car when a lady stopped in to ask to use the toilet before going up Slievenamon on Sunday, May 7.
Joanne described the woman as being in her 30s and driving a little white, sporty car that came from the Kilkenny direction. She adds that the rings are definitely not costume jewellery!
If you have any idea who these rings might belong to, or if they are yours, please get in touch with Joanne on her Facebook post above!
