The Thomastown No Name Club, a club for TY students and teens aged 15 to 18, will reopen this September. The club provides the opportunity for teenagers to develop and practice socialising skills without the pressure of alcohol and other drugs.
No Name Clubs are involved in many worthwhile projects for young people including health promotion projects, arts, music, charity work and community involvement. It is planned to start back in the Community Hall on Fridays from 7 to 9pm from September 29.
Adult leaders are needed to facilitate the evening club and help with supervising events. Adult leaders are not expected to be present every week - two hours a month would be appreciated.
