Safer road crossing for pedestrians in Stoneyford underway

A safer crossing point for pedestrians in Stoneyford is taking shape on the Norelands road.


Local councillors have been told the first part of the work is complete and it will continue during the school half term break.


Hedges have been removed along the roadside and been replaced with fencing, which has already improved visibility on Norelands road, area engineer Declan Murphy, told the Callan Thomastown municipal district councillors.
