Congrats to local couple Michael and Liz Bowden of Woodview, Freshford who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last weekend.
Michael and Liz were married on November 3, 1973 in the UK and returned to Ireland and to Freshford, where they reared nine children.
The happy couple celebrated with their family and friends at a function organised by their family in the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow, where up to 150 people sat down to a beautiful four-course meal and music and dancing afterwards by Midnight Run.
A great night was had by all.
The couple are wished many more years of happiness together.
