Recruitment campaign to get underway for Student Paramedics, ICOs and Emergency Medical Controllers

Are you interested in a career in the Ambulance Service?

In preparation for the National Ambulance Services upcoming national recruitment campaign for Student Paramedics, ICOs and Emergency Medical Controllers – the service is delighted to announce a series of Ambulance Service – Station Open Evenings due to take place around the South Dublin & South East area in the coming weeks.

Kilkenny Ambulance Station, at Kilcreene (Eircode R95 HY8N) will host an open evening on Wednesday, May 8, from 5.30pm to 8pm. 

The opening evenings are designed to allow anyone that might be interested in joining the service, or who just wants to hear more, to come down to their local Ambulance Station to meet the managers, the crews, tour the station and hear why a career in the Ambulance Service might be for you.

You do not need to pre-book, just turn up on the day - If you have any questions or would like to bring a group to one of these events, please feel free to get in touch with the service on 087 9374590

    Station Opening Evenings - Drop in Dates & Times:

    1. Wexford Ambulance Station (Eircode Y35 Y17D) – Monday 29th April – From: 5.30pm - 8pm
    2. Waterford Ambulance Station (Eircode X91 ER8E) – Monday 29th April From: 5.30pm – 8pm
    3. Clonmel Ambulance Station (Eircode: E91 VY40) – Wedesday 1st May– From: 5.30pm – 8pm   
    4. Loughlinstown Ambulance Station (Eircode: D18 H104) – Thursday 2nd May – From: 5.30pm – 8pm
    5. Carlow Ambulance Station (Eircode: R93 Y2V0) – Weds 8th May – From: 5.30pm - 8pm
    6. Kilkenny Ambulance Station (Eircode R95 HY8N) - Weds 8th May – From: 5.30pm – 8pm
