Minister to attend leading conference and exhibition in Kilkenny

Minister of State, Mary Butler

Minister of State for Older People and Mental Health, Mary Butler will be in Kilkenny this Thursday for the Nursing Home Ireland annual conference and exhibition.

This year’s event promises to be a key moment for discussions on the future of nursing home care in Ireland.

Minister Butler will address the audience in the morning and there is a distinguished lineup of experts speaking throughout the day, including Fiona Walsh, Head of Contracts & Strategy, NTP; Aine Flynn, CEO, Decision Support Service; Martina Queally, Regional Executive Officer, HSE Dublin & South East; Dr George Jacob, KPMG and Paula O'Reilly of the Irish Hospice Foundation.

The keynote speaker, Deborah Somorin, a Chartered Accountant and author, will deliver a powerful speech on "From Adversity to Triumph – Resilience."
