Kilkenny students impacted by cancer and MND 'on a mission' to raise funds

Four Kilkenny friends in Transition Year whose families have been impacted by cancer and MND are on a mission to make a difference by taking on the challenge of running a half marathon to raise vital funds for two charities: Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre and MND Ireland on Wednesday, April 13.

Both of these organisations provide essential support to people battling cancer and Motor Neuron Disease (MND), as well as their families.

Cois Nore offers a range of services for those affected by cancer, from emotional and practical support to counseling. MND Ireland works tirelessly to support individuals with MND and their loved ones, providing care, advocacy, and awareness.

"We’re committed to running every step of the way to help fund these life-changing services. But we need your support," the local students posted to their Go Fund Me Page.
