Kilkenny groups to benefit from significant grant funding which has been announced

Kilkenny County council is inviting applications from local community groups

The Community and Cultural Facilities Capital Scheme (CCFCS) Capital Grant is now open to applications with much needed funding for recreational, and cultural facilities available to local groups in County Kilkenny.

The scheme is open to groups operating within the Community Sector who have a recognised legal structure, who operate on a 'not for profit' basis, demonstrate a policy of inclusion and demonstrate the capacity to manage and operate the proposed facilities.

Examples of projects eligible for support could include the development of open spaces, walks and parklands; play areas, broad based recreational facilities, community arts projects and projects that conserve the built and natural heritage of the county.
