New life-saving volunteer group set to launch in Kilkenny - get involved!

A new Community First Responder (CFR) group is being established in Kilkenny City with the aim of providing life-saving assistance in emergencies before paramedics arrive.

The initiative, led by a team of like-minded volunteers, will receive support from Critical, a charity that equips CFR teams and out-of-hours doctors.

A recruitment night hosted by Critical will be held at the Orchard House pub in Kilkenny City on Thursday, June 12, at 8pm.

Organisers are encouraging anyone interested in volunteering or learning more to attend.
