Kilkenny man due to depart for Ukraine on humanitarian mission

Kilkenny man Fergal Walsh and a group of volunteers are set to depart for Ukraine in the coming days after securing vital vehicles which can assist the country in its ongoing resistance to the Russian invasion.

Amongst those set to depart is local man Fergal Walsh, who successfully travelled to Kiev on two pervious occasions during the invasion.

The local cohort is now set to return once more with ambulances and fire engines amongst the vehicles expected to be donated.

"I am now setting up this new campaign to help deliver much need support to Ukraine. All donations no matter how small will go to make a huge difference so in advance thank you for your support," he added.
