Dr Michael Shortall
Dr Michael Shortall is to be confirmed as the next President of St Patrick’s College, Maynooth. He has served as Interim President since last year when Professor Michael Mullaney stepped down as President of St Patrick’s College, Maynooth.
Following a recruitment process that started last April Dr. Michael now takes on the role on a permanent basis. Son of Carmel and the late Michael Shortall, Yellow Road, Castlecomer he is widely regarded for his academic work in moral theology and his leadership within the seminary community. He has served as a priest in the Diocese of Dublin.
All in the community wish Dr Michael well in his new prestigious role.
