“The Credit Union in Goresbridge has always played an important role for families in our common bond area, providing loans for all stages of members lives, from christenings to retirement plans and everything in between, as well as being a secure place to save for your future, and the expansion of our premises in Goresbridge will continue to allow us to provide this essential service to our valued members into the future,” he said.
The renovations and expansion in Goresbridge will consist of a complete upgrade of the existing building. The two temporary buildings will be replaced by modern office spaces and a meeting room. The existing building will have new eco-friendly windows installed and be insulated to current highest regulations standards including upgraded electrical and heating systems.
The members' area will be fully refurbished. A new carpark will provide parking for staff along with two disabled parking spaces with EV charging points and a dedicated area for bicycles. The renovations will provide an ecofriendly modern member and staff experience.
The Credit Union is operated by members for its members.
