Internationally-acclaimed animation studio, Cartoon Saloon have designed a very special Christmas card for Cois Nore Community Cancer Support Centre depicting their soon to be new home on the Waterford Road.
This festive addition to Cois Nore’s popular card range captures the warmth, joy, and spirit of
the season while celebrating the strength of community and compassion at the heart of Cois Nore’s
mission.
The card, titled Nollaig Shona, depicts Cois Nore’s soon-to-be- opened new home on the Waterford
Road in Kilkenny, and features a magical winter scene filled with light, laughter, and togetherness. It
is now available for purchase in retail outlets and pharmacies throughout Kilkenny, with all proceeds

This collaboration continues a unique fusion of artistic excellence and community care, bringing
together two Kilkenny-based organisations with a shared commitment to storytelling, healing, and
hope.
"We are happy to be working with Cois Nore again and supporting the work they do in the
community. We know that this year has been a big one for them as they are refurbishing the new
home for Kilkenny Cancer support services. Its great to know that from next year more people in
Kilkenny who are living with cancer can benefit from the important supports they provide," said a spokesperson for Cartoon Saloon.
"We are delighted to be working with Cartoon Saloon again on a fabulous new Christmas Card. The
unique card is 100% Kilkenny having been designed and printed here and the funds raised will be
used to benefit the people of Kilkenny and the surrounding areas. The card features our new home in
the background which will be a familiar sight to people coming and going to the city from the
Waterford Road. Cartoon Saloon have been incredibly supportive of the work we do over the years
and we really appreciate that they have lent their time and skills to creating this beautiful card for us," said manager of Cois Nore, Mary Dolan.
Cois Nore invites the public to support its work this Christmas by choosing a card that not only sends
festive cheer but also helps sustain free, local cancer support services. Every card sold contributes
directly to professional counselling, hands- on therapies, support groups, children’s services, as well
as support and practical supports across County Kilkenny.
