Latest figures reveal  21 patients waiting on beds in Kilkenny hospital

St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny

Twenty one patients are waiting for beds at St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny this morning according to the latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

Nationally 628 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 398 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 230 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

This figure is down marginally from Monday where there were 25 patients waiting for beds at St Luke's.
