Alannah / Picture: Carlow Kilkenny Dog Shelter
Over a month ago, a sprightly young pup was surrendered into the care of Carlow Kilkenny Dog Shelter and still hasn’t had any suitable home offers.
Alannah is used to her home comforts and would love to find her new home as soon as possible.
"At only 11 months she is a big bouncy pup who thinks she is a lap dog," the shelter explained.

"She would not be suitable for small children due to this but she mixes well with most dogs.
"Zuma is her best friend at the shelter, she could be rehomed with a male dog of similar size or would be just as happy as an only dog.
"She hadn’t been walked much on a lead so this is work in progress but she is doing really well and will require a fully enclosed garden."
