Applications for the 2026 Rose of Tralee International Festival are now open for Rose Escorts and one Kilkenny GAA club has already put the call out for 'eligible gentlemen' in their area.
"Calling all eligible Clara Gentlemen! Are you up for the craic and the challenge of becoming a @roseoftraleefestival," the club posted to social media.
The job of the Rose Escort at the Rose of Tralee International Festival is to ensure that the Rose has an unforgettable and stress-free experience.
The successful candidates will first take part in a team-building boot camp in June in Kerry, while also taking part in the Festival, parades and much more.

All Rose Escorts must be born in Ireland or be an Irish citizen or be of Irish origin by virtue of one of your ancestors having been born in Ireland, be male or identify as male, be unmarried or never been married and be 21 years of age by January 1st on the year of their involvement and will not have reached their 32nd birthday on or prior to September 1st of that year.
Interested Kilkenny escorts are encouraged to apply now.
