The School of Food, Thomastown has a packed schedule of events running in December, as part of the Yulefest in Kilkenny.
On Saturday 2nd December, as part of ‘Christmas in Thomastown’ the School will host its Festive Fun for Families event – a drop in quick and easy baking session for parents and children.
Drop in between 10 am and 11.30 am to bake or decorate something Christmassy! €5 per child, parents are free, but must accompany their children.
The CakeFace Pastry Christmas demonstration on Monday 5th December has proven popular as it is already sold out. The School welcomes CakeFace Pastry back for its second partnership of the year, and looks forward to discovering some of their secrets!
If you’re looking for ideas to host your own Christmas party, then the School’s demonstration on 14th December is the one for you. Christmas Party Food and Drink is another popular event, with Gail Johnson providing all the inspiration you need to deliver a splendid festive party.
The School’s final offering is on Saturday 17th December, with its Children’s Edible Gifts workshop. Following on from its successful Children’s Workshops during the summer and half term holidays, Eadaoin Walsh returns to provide kids with timely Christmas gift ideas – if they last that long!
There are plenty more classes on offer in the New Year – check out the School’s website on www.schooloffood.ie . Vouchers are available as Christmas gifts too.
