What better way to celebrate the festive season than in the cosy candlelit atmosphere of Fennelly’s on Bridge Street in Callan. Once an undertakers, dairy, egg depository and bar, Fennelly’s is now home to a myriad of creative events run by local woman Etaoin Holahan.
‘It’s a welcoming space for all where people can enjoy a delightful festive experience with family and friends, says Etaoin. ‘let’s bring our Christmas celebrations back into the heart of our town.’ This Yulefest on Saturday the 17th of December from 2pm to 6pm Fennelly’s will offer festive workshops for children and adults in natural wreath making, origami tree decoration, Christmas logs, and much more. Full to the brim of Christmas spirit, there may even be chestnuts roasting on the open fire!
With gourmet clay oven pizzas and delicious mulled drinks available and a free Christmas cinema, it will be a great place to escape the hustle and bustle and indulge your (inner) child! Admission will be €5 and includes tea/coffee and cake. There will also be a fee for participation in the workshops. For further details check the facebook page at www.facebook.com/fennellysbridgest/
