DIOCESAN CELEBRATION - To Launch Year of Faith: Most Rev Martin Drennan, Bishop of Galway, native of Kilkenny, will celebrate Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral today (Wednesday) at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
IRELAND REACHING OUT PRESENTATION - The Ireland Reaching Out Programme are holding a presentation Roadshow in the Springhill Court Hotel, on Tuesday, November 20 at 8pm. After a hugely successful two years, Ireland XO is now embarking on its expansion programme nationwide. Mike Ferrick, Founder and Chairman and Henry Healy, Community Activation Leader, with Ireland Reaching Out (distant cousin of Barack Obama) will be giving the presentations. Anyone with an interest in their community, its history, tourism, business or genealogy is encouraged to get involved and learn more about the programme. New parish volunteers are always welcome.
