This is a FREE workshop hosted by the Kilkenny Campus of NUI Maynooth, College Rd, Kilkenny to celebrate the launch of the new First Arts option (MH901).
Most of us are so engaged in life and all of its anxieties that we can find it very difficult to differentiate our own issues from other peoples issues, and this is having a profound negative effect on our physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. The workshop will help us learn in a very practical and fun filled way how to have more contentment in life, by managing ourselves and our time, and freeing ourselves from fears and consistent worries.
Who should attend: Senior Level Students, (their Parents), Guidance Counsellors and Mature or FETAC students interested in developing skills that will support the transition to College life. A short CAO Information session will take place following the above event.

BROW RANGERS A.C. - Brow Rangers AC won 13 Championship medals at the Indoor C’ships this year.
The club won 6 Leinster medals. John Joe Kelly was 2nd in the u17 shot. Therese Kelly was 2nd in the u13 shot. Patrick Darcy was 3rd in the u15 shot. Cliona Quirke was 3rd in the u18 shot. Murty Kelly was 2nd in the m6 shot. Joe kelly was 1st in the m2 shot.
Other athletes who threw well in the Leinsters were, Matthew Cullen, Grainne Kenny, Aoife Coady, Shauna Coady, Emma Kelly, Ciaran Coady, Grainne Kelly, Roisin Coady, Adam Kelly, Siobhan Coady, Ciaran Kehoe, Kate Cullen and Tommy Quirke.
The top 3 from Leinster go through to the All-Ireland.
At the All-Ireland John Joe Kelly 2nd in the u17 shot, Therese Kelly 2nd in the u13 shot and Cliona Quirke was 8th in the u18 shot.
Best of luck to Patrick Darcy who is competing next weekend in the All-Ireland.
At the Munster masters open, Joe Kelly 1st in the m2 shot and 56lb for distance. Murty Kelly 1st in the m6 shot and 3rd in the 56lb for distance.
Kilkenny Community & Voluntary Forum - The South East Regional Drugs task Force (SERDTF),Kilkenny Community & Voluntary Forum and Kilkenny Leader Partnership are jointly organising a community consulation Seminar on the subject of substance misuse. The seminar will be on the morning of Friday 19th April 2013. The venue will be the Pembrooke Hotel, 11 Patrick Street, Kilkenny from 9:30am to 1:30pm. A light lunch will be served.
