The Meditteranian type weather saw crowds flocking to the Barrow to their favourite haunts to enjoy the swimming, diving, canoeing and all kind of water sports. of course safety has to be paramount as tragedies do occur despite the best of intentions. Life guards will be on duty at weekends only for the month of June from 2pm to 4pm and from 5pm to 7.30pm. From the 1st July they will be on duty seven days per week and this rota will continue until the end of August. Enjoy the swimming and take care.
