The Danesfort Annual Parish Field Day takes place in two weeks time, Sunday September 1. This family fun day is once again being run by the parish and Danesfort GAA club to raise the funds required to support parish activities, facilities and the sporting needs of our children and young adults. We are blessed with many fine facilities in the parish and it is important that we keep them in tip top shape.
Once again we are asking that you get out your cook books and bake much need breads and cakes for our tea room and bakery stand. Cookery courses for children have become very popular and we would encourage our younger parishioners to bake for the field day. All donations can be given in the weekend of the field day.
Once again we are encouraging local businesses to take a trade stand at the Field Day. If you are interested in taking a stand you can contact us on our Facebook page: Danesfort Parish Field Day. If you would like to help at the Field Day please come to our weekly planning meeting in the parish centre on Tuesday night at 8pm.
