Next weekend every parish in the diocese of Ossory will be given the opportunity to share opinions in the plans currently being considered by Bishop Freeman. These involve. 1. Restoration at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 2.The development of the Cathedral surroundings that they may play an increased and higher profile in strengthening faith in our diocese, 3. Consideration is also being given to the financial provision of retired clergy in the diocese. This will involve a one page survey and is part of a diocesan wide exercise which is gathering opinions of clergy and laity of our community. These plans will be expanded upon and it is hoped each family will take the time to participate.

Many congratulations to all the young people of our parish who got their leaving cert results last week We wish them all the very best in the next phase of their education at third level!
