Rehab’s training service, which has a centre at Regent House in Kilkenny, has been recognised with a European Excellence Award.
Rehab’s training services delivered by National Learning Network are the first in Ireland to earn the EQUASS Excellence Award. The network offers over 40 training programmes for people who are “distanced from the labour market” with some 5,000 students accessing courses around the country each year.
“National Learning Network has received this award for its services nationally and the centre in Kilkenny is widely regarded for the hugely successful outcomes for students,” said Rehab chief executive Angela Kerins.
EQUASS (the European Quality in Social Services) Excellence Award recognises organisations that provide social services and is used as a reference for social services legislation in several European countries.
