URLINGFORD COMMUNITY CHILDCARE CENTRE - We are now taking names for enrolment for August/September 2012. Our modern custom built centre caters for children between 12 months to 12 years (6th class).
The centre opens from 8am to 6pm for 50 weeks of the year offering full day, part time and sessional places at competitive rates. WE offer Free Preschool in our excellent high scope setting as well as substantial childcare grants for all children through the governments CCS and CETS schemes. With a substantial investment from the Government we are delighted to announce that we will be constructing a large ‘all weather’ outdoor play are, purpose built all weather water and sand area, multi-sensory room and a state of the art preschool/afterschool room during the summer. MILL FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE - Coming up for September: Introduction to Childcare/Health Care which will work into FETAC Level 5 Health Care Support. This is a part time course consisting of two mornings a week from September 2012 to June 2013.
GRAINE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION - Members of GDA wish to express their thanks for the very generous response they have received so far in their house to house collection in aid of the development of the hall. Envelopes are also available in the church porch in Urlingford church for those who wish to contribute to the development of Graine Hall. These envelopes can be returned to Fr Maher at any time. Receipts are available if requested.
CERTIFICATE IN THEOLOGICAL STUDIES - This course aims to provide general Theological Education and Formation in the main aspects of faith aimed at those who are interested in lay involvement and leadership roles at parish and diocesan level. The programme runs for 24 weeks, September to May, Mondays and Thursdays, 7pm to 9.30pm, with modules in the Old and New Testament Scriptures, Church History, the Church, past and present, Moral Theology, Liturgy and Sacraments.
