Special celebration in St Patrick’s Centre

Over 400 people are expected to attend a very special event in the St Patrick’s Centre tomorrow (Saturday) at 3pm, as all staff, residents and their families gather for a celebration of the centre’s new buses.

Over 400 people are expected to attend a very special event in the St Patrick’s Centre tomorrow (Saturday) at 3pm, as all staff, residents and their families gather for a celebration of the centre’s new buses.

Bishop Seamus Freeman will celebrate Mass and bless the six new minibuses. Councillor Maurice Shorthall (acting for chairperson Kilkenny County Council and Deputy Mayor John Coonan will present keys of the new vehicle to St Patrick’s residents from the houses of Mt Oliver’s, Marian House, St Michael’s, Mary Ville, Our Lady’s, Haven Lane, and Damara (Children’s Service).

The event will be followed by a vintage car display, barbeque and live music.
