ST STEPHEN’S DAY WALK – All roads lead to Gathabawn today (Wednesday, December 26) for the annual St Stephen’s Day Walk.
Walkers can choose either the new walking loop or the shorter walk. A great day of fun and exercise is guaranteed.

GAA AND CAMOGIE CLUB LOTTO- Annual club lotto tickets are currently on sale. The annual ticket for €100 enters you into 52 weekly draws. Weekly tickets are just €2 and are available from Hogans’, McGraths’, Bradleys’ Butchers and the Credit Union in Ballyragget, O’Carroll’s pharmacy and Micheal Bergin’s in Freshford, Mackeys’ in Gathbawn, Carmel’s in Lisdowney and from any committee member.

STICKY FINGERS -– The Sticky Fingers parent/guardian and baby group meets on Thursday mornings between 10am and 12.30pm in the Oasis Childcare Centre, Freshford. Contact Louise on 085-7206381 or Niamh on 086-7737294.
SOS – SOS is a voluntary organisation in Kilkenny for adults with a mild to moderate intellectual disability, providing day services, respite and residential care. They are looking for families or individuals (hosts) to provide short breaks (day/overnight/weekend) in their home for adults from their services. Each host is matched with one person from SOS and an expense allowance is paid for each break provided. They are also looking for volunteers to support them in providing extra social and recreational activities for people attending SOS in the evening time or weekends.
