Fun Fiesta at the Sports Complex on Saturday

fun fiesta-Kilmacow Sports Complex Committee will host a two day ‘Fun Fiesta’ at the Sports Complex on Saturday, 14th July and Sunday, 15th July.

On Saturday evening events will commence at 8.00pm with a barbeque and dance. There will be live music and a DJ. There will also be the major spectacle as the hot air balloons fly in onto the Sports Complex grounds. Other attractions on the night include tea tent, mineral bar, shop and bouncy castle. Admission is €3 and children are allowed in free.

On Sunday there will be over thirty different offerings to engage people from 1.00pm to 6.00pm. The major events organised include animal corner, duck race, scenic train ride, model aircraft display, archery and rifle shooting, formula 3 race cars and dog show. The Liam McCarthy Cup will be displayed and arrangements will be made to screen the Munster Hurling Final live. It is intended also to organise a televised horse racing schedule whereby people can have a modest wager on the outcome of the races screened. Admission is €5 and children are allowed in free.

A huge level of preparation has gone into the Fun Fiesta and all attendees can be assured of a great evening (Saturday) afternoon’s (Sunday) entertainment. The proceeds of the Fun Fiesta will be used to continue the work of developing and enhancing the amenities available at the Sports Complex
