Franciscian Missions-Brother Brian Johnson OSF visited Johnstown and Crosspatrick parish last weekend and spoke of the work the Franciscian Brothers do in the poorest countries in the world. Brother Johnson is based in Kenya. He received a wonderful reception in the parish and has written to thank the people for their generosity. The contribution given amounted to 2330 euro. This was outstanding in these tough times and the Brothers assure us that every cent will be used efficiently, effectively and wisely. He assured the parish of the prayers of the brothers daily. Brother Johnson is a native of Banagher, Co. Offaly but has spent all his religious life overseas.
Thank you Breda Campion.
