All Ireland Hurling Tickets - The draw for all Ireland hurling tickets will take place in the Tullaroan sports complex on Saturday 22nd September at 8pm and those who require tickets are asked to present at the draw. Local publican John Connolly is organising a bus to travel to the All Ireland and the bus will leave Tullaroan Village on 30th September at 9am. Anyone interested in travelling are asked to give their name to John as soon as possible.
U-16 HURLING COUNTY FINAL - The Tullaroan under 16 team will play Conahy in St. Lactain’s sports field, Freshford at 3pm on Saturday 22nd September.
U-14: The under 14 team had a good win over Lisdowney in the Shield semi-final on a scoreline Tullaroan 3-7 Lisdowney 0-8.

CAMOGIE - On this Sunday afternoon @ 3pm the Tullaroan intermediate camogie team will play Piltown in the County Semi Final. Venue to be decided. Best of luck to all involved.
U21 All Ireland Hurling Final - Paul Buggy and Padraig Walsh were on the Kilkenny hurling panel who went under to Clare in the All Ireland U21 hurling final held at Thurles on Saturday evening last.
PRAGUE HOUSE - Prague House fundraising committee are holding a raffle commencing in October for three months. There will be ten draws in total and tickets will cost €30.00 each. First prize in each draw will be €1,000.00 with many other prizes. Members of the committee will call to all householders in Tullaroan in the coming weeks to sell tickets and your support would be very much appreciated.
WHIST DRIVE - A whist drive will be held in the Tullaroan Community Centre on Friday 21st September at 8.45pm. Proceeds to the late Mary Coyne Memorial Fund.
GALA CONCERT - A gala concert in aid of Save the African Slum Children Association will be held in the Spring hill Hotel, Kilkenny on Thursday 20th September at 8pm. Artists include Fr. Liam Lawton and local acts, tickets cost €15.00, students and senior citizens €12.00.
SYMPATHY - The death took place last week of Fr. Frank Comerford, Kimmage Manor, Dublin 12 and formerly Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny. Deep sympathy to his niece Dolores Dillon, Ardabawn, Tullaroan and the Comerford Family.
TIMBER CUTTING - Cutting of timber will continue each Saturday. The timber will be auctioned later this year and all monies raised will go to paying off the debt on the development at the Tullaroan sports grounds. All help would be very much appreciated.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT - A meeting will be held on Thursday 20th September at 9pm in the Community Centre. All those who are involved in the preparation for the Christmas Concert are invited to attend.
DVD - A DVD of Mass in the Tullaroan cemetery in 1987 and the Tullaroan Parish Social with the junior set dancers will be on sale this weekend. Price €5.00 and all proceeds will go to charity. For further information please contact Betty Payne or Breda Grace.
