Presentation student scoops silver and bronze for Ireland

A Presentation Secondary School student recently had a very successful weekend at an international swimming competition, coming home with four medals – one silver and three bronze.

A Presentation Secondary School student recently had a very successful weekend at an international swimming competition, coming home with four medals – one silver and three bronze.

Jess Stallord had been selected to represent Ireland in the WISE international schools swimming meet.

The competition took place in Sunderland, England earlier in the month. Jess has had a very successful year on the swimming circuit and has been chosen as senior front crawler for the team based on national rankings.

The WISE international takes place annually and sees Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales battle it out for the spoils.

This is the second time that Jess was chosen to represent her school and her country in this competition.
