Parish Pastoral Council - A meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council will be held in the Parish House, Hugginstown on Wednesday . November 28 at 8pm.

Peace in Christ, Retreat House - A Day of Reflection and Prayer (Beginning Our Advent Journey) will take place on Sunday 2nd. December from 10.30a.m. to 5.00p.m. Guided by Fr. Martin Delaney, Christine Kelly and Sr. Margaret Moloney. All are very welcome. Stoneyford Annual Christmas Fair - The Stoneyford Development Association’s Annual Christmas Fair will be held on Sunday 2nd. December from 2.00p.m to 5.00p.m. at the Stoneyford Community Centre. This year’s Fair is to raise funds towards furnishing our new Extension. The following items are needed for the fair: Good Quality Second Hand Toys (no soft toys please), Children’s Books, Home-Baking (brown bread, scones, buns, cookies, Christmas bakes, tarts, jams etc) and new or nearly new unwanted items for the Wheel of Fortune are also needed. (No Bric-a-Brac please). Donation of sweets/chocolates are also needed for the Decorate a Sweet Jar Stall for children. Items may be dropped to the Community Centre on Saturday 1st. December between 6.00p.m. and 8.00p.m. or from 11.00a.m. on Sunday 2nd. There will also be a drop-off at the Church Car Park after 6.30p.m. Mass on Saturday 2nd. December.

There will be a draw this year for great prizes: Hotel Vouchers, Beauty Treatments, Hair Vouchers, Golf in Mount Juliet, and many more. Lines can be purchased locally.

School Board of Management - A meeting will be held in Newmarket School on Tuesday November 27 at 8pm. A meeting will be held in Monroe School on Thursday November 29 at 8pm.

Irish Pilgrimage Trust - The Kilkenny Group of the Irish Pilgrimage Trust (formerly IHCPT) will shortly take a fundraising table at a local Car Boot Sale to raise funds for their Easter 2013 Pilgrimage to Lourdes. We invite donations of suitable bric-a-brac, ornaments, pictures, CDs, etc. to help raise money on the day. We are happy to take any saleable items which may be cluttering your attic or presses at the moment. Please drop material off at St. Patrick’s Parish Centre, Loughboy before Friday, 30th. November. The Trust is a registered charity which brings young people with special needs from the area to Lourdes each Easter.
