Congratulations - Heartiest congratulations to Sevensisters Ceramics, recently awarded Craft Business of the Year 2012 at a function in Lyrath Estate Hotel hosted by Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce. They were also shortlisted for Emerging New Business award. Sevensisters Ceramics is situated in the “Black Door” gift shop on Main Street, Johnstown. This beautiful gift shop opened its doors on November 18th 2011, and was a great enhancement to the village and the community. At the moment, it is like an “Aladdins Cave”, full of gorgeous Christmas gifts. The shop is owned by Maeve Sookram and Kevin Dolan, and since they came to live in Johnstown, they have been involved whole heartedly in the local community. Maeve and Kevin wish to acknowledge the support of the people of Johnstown without which this award would not have been possible, and we in turn wish them continued success in their business.
