KILKENNY BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT - ‘A time to meet others bereaved by suicide’. Kilkenny Bereavement Support will hold their monthly meeting for people bereaved by suicide in Villa Mario, Talbot’s Inch, Kilkenny tomorrow (Thursday) at 8pm. All are welcome. KBS will also hold ‘A Healing Group’ for people who have been b bereaved by suicide for at least six months. This group will meet for 8 weeks in a row. This year the meeting will take place in Villa Maria commencing on Tuesday, February 19 at 8pm and will continue on the following Tuesday nights. For information phone 056-7756538

CONFIRMATION - The ceremony of Confirmation will be conferred on the fifth and sixth class children on Saturday, February 9 at 11.30am. SOS - Is a voluntary organization in Kilkenny for adults with a mild-moderate intellectual disability, providing day services, respite and residential care. We are looking for families or individuals (hosts) to provide short breaks (day/overnight/weekend) in t heir home for adults from our service. Each host is matched with one person from SOS and an expense allowance is paid for each break provided. We are also looking for volunteers to support us in providing extra social and recreational activities for people attending SOS in the evening time or weekends.
