FREE CHILDCARE PLACES
The Wishing Well Crèche, Montessori & Afterschool in Glenvale is now taking bookings for the ECCE free pre-school year September ’13-June ’14. Our service offers, in additional to the daily three-hour free session, many optional extras at very competitive rates including extending some or all days, to half days or full days. Our service is the only service in the locality offering the ECCE allowance against full-time or part-time care. Our main policy in relation to ECCE is to emphasise the personal attention which each and every child in our care receives and we do this by reducing the child/staff ratio as set out in the ECCE contract.
We are also currently taking bookings for after-school care from September ’13 to June ’14 which includes a breakfast club for school-going children, school drop-off and collection and the provision of a hearty warm meal on return from school, all at an affordable price. Our emphasis is on one to one attention with homework and on providing fun activities for the children.
Our premises is purpose-built, caring for children from 3 months to 13 years and includes, a full kitchen service with an emphasis on healthy, nutritious home-made meals and a good sized, enclosed, private playground. Our staff are fully qualified and regularly attend training courses to keep abreast of new developments in Childcare.
In addition to ECCE, we also provide free childcare to parents on certain FAS courses under the CETS scheme. Also, our service is preparing to be part of the provision of the new subsidised After-school childcare places which is a new initiative from the government to enable people to return to, and to stay in the workforce. All enquiries welcome in relation to the above or to any childcare requirements, please contact Helen on 0872779945 or 056 8830864.
