Edward’s special Christmas food for Loreto

Edward Hayden, recently crowned “King of the Knitters” is to turn his multi-talented hands back to the kitchen with “A Taste of Christmas” cookery demonstration on Tuesday 2nd December in Langtons ballroom, as a fundraising event for the Loreto secondary school.

Edward Hayden, recently crowned “King of the Knitters” is to turn his multi-talented hands back to the kitchen with “A Taste of Christmas” cookery demonstration on Tuesday 2nd December in Langtons ballroom, as a fundraising event for the Loreto secondary school.

TV3 celebrity chef Edward says he will be “offering very useful recipes and tips for Christmas cooking for family and friends. All the recipes will be easy to recreate, using easily sourced, seasonal ingredients that won’t blow the budget.”

There will also be a food market featuring Taste of Kilkenny members.

The school choir singing Christmas carols will perform and the ticket price, at €20 for adults,includes a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. There will also be a “12 days of Christmas” raffle with 12 quality prizes as well as a door prize and spot prizes.
