Pretty Wedding - The marriage of Oonagh Hennessy, Liss, Tullaroan and Noric Guilfoyle, Dunmore, Kilkenny tookplace in the Church of The Assumption, Tullaroan on 21 December last. Best man Richard Guilfoyle brother of the groom, James Butler and Steve Waters groomsmen and friends of the groom. Bridesmaids Pauline Cummins along with Mairead Butler friends of the bride and Orlagh Byrne niece of Oonagh’s.

The nuptial Mass was concelebrated by Rev. Peter Muldowney uncle of Noric and Rev. Patsy Guilfoyle P.P. Tullaroan. Musician Paddy Cleere and Linda Sweeney was the singer at the Mass. After the nuptial Mass the wedding reception was held at Hotel Kilkenny.
The happy couple spent their honeymoon in Thailand and are now living in Dunmore, Co. Kilkenny.
Oonagh is daughter of Katheeen and the late Jim Hennessy, Liss, Tullaroan and Noric is son of Richard and Nora Guilfoyle, Dunmore, Kilkenny.

Deep Sympathy - The death took place last week of Sinead Lee, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Sinead was niece of Jimmy Marshall, Ballybeigh, Tullaroan.
Sympathy to the Lee and Marshall families - Sympathy to the Harris family, Kilmanagh on the sudden death of Victor. Victor was an agri. salesman in the Tullaroan area for many years where he endeared himself to all who came in contact with him. Jim Molloy, The Commons, Co. Tipperary who died recently was a very well known sportsman and farmed extensively with his brother in Tullaroan and the Commons. Sympathy to his family.
Parish Pastoral Council - The Council will meet on Wednesday January 9th at 8pm in the Parochial House. All members are requested to attend.
Best Wishes - Congratulations to James and Joy Moore, Oldtown, Tullaroan who have recently opened a Bakery shop and Cafe on High Street, Kilkenny. They are wished the very best in their new venture.
Tullaroan Active Retirement Association - The group will meet on Wednesday 9th December at 2pm in the Community Centre. All are welcome to an afternoon of friendship, chat and some refreshments.
Football - The Tullaroan minor football team overcame Dunamaggin in the semi final of the football championship held at the Tullaroan sports grounds on Saturday afternoon last. They are wished all the best in the final.
Whist Drive - A whist drive will be held in the Community Centre on Saturday 19th January, commencing at 8.30pm. Proceeds to Zambia Fund and your support would be very much appreciated.
Scoil Ruadháin - The teachers and pupils returned to Scoil Ruadháin on Monday last following the Christmas holidays, they are wished all the best for the coming term.

Surprise Visit - Bill Hennessy along with his brother Paul arrived home from Australia on a surprise visit to Tullaroan recently.
Rugby - Congratulations to Jack Keogh and Thomás Dunne who recently played in a Rugby Beo at the R.D.S. Dublin during the Leinster V Connacht match. Both boys play U12 with the Kilkenny rugby club.
