Pilates - Pilates classes will commence on Tuesday January 15 in the Castle Arms Hotel from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. this is a ten week course and it costs eighty euro. As places are limited it is essential to book by contacting Margaret at 0868547710.
Lotto - The parish lotto with a jackpot of 4,750 euro was not won before Christmas, small winners were 30 euro Joe Doyle, 25 euro Catherine Creagh and 20 euro Mary Walsh . the lotto of January 14 will be held in the Castle Arms Hotel with a possible jackpot of 5,050 euro. Tickets must be handed in before 9.30 pm on the night of the draw to be included in that jackpot. Lions - The Lions Soccer Club wishes to thank everyone for their great support in their Christmas hamper draw. Crib -The Square in Durrow this Christmas Season has been adorned with a beautiful crib at the gates into Our Lady’s Meadow National School. There are many people to thank for this crib, firstly the Pratt Family, Ballinakill Rd, Abbeyleix who donated the fabulous figures for the crib, Kay and Hughie Sheppard, Kieran Costello for the Crib, Liam Clancy, Glass wear, the Clancy brothers (Jim and Tony) and everyone who helped in making this wonderful crib. Well done to all. The crib was offically opened and blessed on the night of the switching on of the Christmas lights

Parish Dance - The Killermogh Parish Union Annual Dance will be held in the Castle Arms Hotel ,Durrow on Friday night January 11,2013. Supper will be served at 9.30 pm sharp. Tickets are available from the committee or at the door. This dance is one of the best nights in the year and is well worth attending, a great night is assured
Fishing - Durrow/Cullohill Parish Anglers held their Annual General Meeting in Durrow Inn on Friday night January 4,2013. It was well attended.
