SCOIL NAOMH BHRIDE FUNDRAISER - Help and support Lisdowney Scoil Bhride National School raise funds by recycling your unwanted clothes. You can recycle men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, household textiles (curtains, towels), soft toys, shoes, handbags, belts and mobile phones (any condition once they are clean). Things that cannot be accepted – dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, duvets. Please leave your recycle clothes in bags at Lisdowney Scoil Bhride National School on the morning of Tuesday, 13th November 2012. The school will receive a financial contribution for each 10kg bag of clothing and mobile phone collected.

MASS FOR THE SICK - Mass for the Sick takes place every Friday in Lisdowney at 7.30pm.
FIRST FRIDAY- Visitation of the sick and housebound will take place this Friday.
PRAGUE HOUSE DRAW - The Prague House Monster Fundraising Draw continues with prize funds of €3,000 in November and €4,000 in December, plus countless other prizes at each draw. Tickets are €30 and are available from Prague House and various locations in Freshford.
GET OFF THE COUCH - The free three-week introduction to exercise course continues in Colaiste Mhuire at 11.30am on the first Wednesday in November. The aim of the course is to encourage everyone, no matter what level, to become a little bit more active than they are. All are welcome.
BRIDGE - Conahy Bridge Club are organising bridge classes for beginners. Catherine Brennan, CBAI qualified bridge teacher, will give the eight-week course in Conahy Hall. Classes will be on a Tuesday night from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. CANCER EXERCISE CLASS - A Cancer Exercise Class has commenced in Clontubrid. This class is specifically designed for people who have suffered any type of cancer and are recovering or recovered.
