Juvenile AGM-Dicksboro GAA Club will hold its Juvenile AGM in the clubhouse on this Friday at 8pm. Parents of all our current juveniles are invited to come along or if you are considering starting your child in 2013 you are also welcome to attend.
Under 14- Congratulations to our under 14 panel who put another trophy in the cabinet last Saturday when they won the Roinn ‘A’ Football League Shield Final.

Parish Pastoral Council - Nomination Time: The current Parish Pastoral Council will in accordance with its constitution, reach the end of its three year term in January. Elections/Selection to form a new council will take place in the Parish Centre on Thursday 17th January. Parishioners and the various Liturgical and Social Groupings/Committees in the parish are requested to nominate candidates for the vacancies which now arise. Nomination Forms will be available after Christmas & completed Forms should be returned to the parish Centre by 4.00pm on Monday 14th January.
Baptisms- Baptisms take place on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 5.00pm in St. Canice’s. Newly Baptised are invited to attend 11.30am Mass on the last Sunday of the month.
Grow- GROW Mental Health Movement are running a Bric a Brac Stall as a Fundraiser in Cillin Hill end of Feb. 2013. Donations of glass, pottery, books or any unwanted gifts/toys etc. No clothes or shoes. GROW would be most appreciative of any donated goods to be delivered to Ormonde Home, Barrack St, Kilkenny.
Fitkids Classes-Come join our Fitkids active fun class and keep kids active while making friends and having fun. The class is suitable for 3-6 year olds and starts Monday 14th January in St Patricks Parish Hall, Loughboy from 3.30 to 4.30. Our programmes are age appropriate and are a great foundation for any sport, teaching children the fundamentals of exercise - strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, agility and co-ordination in a safe and fun environment. Activities include: tumbling circuits using Fitkids specialised equipment, gymnastic skills, ball skills, music dance & rhythmic activities, active agility games and much more.
