Development Forum-Durrow development Forum would like to say a sincere thank you to all who supported the Durrow Scarecrow Festival in any way especially those who volunteered their time, skills and expertise to assist us in organizing and running what has been a hugely successful festival. With a recorded attendance in the Scarecrow village of close to 10,000 people while it is estimated that an additional 3,000 more people visited the town, together we have not only put Durrow on the Tourist map, but as a community have worked together to kick-start the fundraising effort to meet the community’s share of the cost of rejuvenating the Square. Thank you also to local Businesses that sponsored the Festival. Finally, a Huge thank you to the Scarecrow makers. You have brought great joy to locals and visitors alike and your hard work and effort has not gone unnoticed. Renewed thanks to all those who played their part. We couldn’t have done it without you.
