Development Association Project Progressing - The current major project undertaken by the Development Association to enhance the Scart Road entrance to St Michael & Davids Cemetery is progressing well. The project had been delayed due to the extremely wet weather of recent times. An enthusiastic team of volunteers took advantge of the recent dry spell and worked long and hard to clear the ground around the entrance and lay a well defined surface.
Dungarvan cemetery has always been maintained to a very high standard and the development of the entrance will compliment the overall appearence of the cemetery. This type of work is back breaking and time consuming and the volunteers who undertake such a project deserve great praise and support.
This is an unselfish act by them and demonstrates the love and pride they feel for their place,to the benefit of all the community and future generations. This Association certainly deserves the support of the Community. Please support the Fundraiser on Saturday 23rd at the Ouncel.
