FAMILY MASS - All parishioners are invited to attend a Family Mass in Ballyragget Church on Sunday at 10am. We would like to see all families represented at this significant Parish Sunday Celebration. In particular if your child has received the sacraments of Baptism, Communion or Confirmation in the last year please bring them along as a valued member of our faith community. We look forward to this very special parish gathering.

The Under 14 team was in action at home on Wednesday night, May 15th, when Cloneen were visitors for the second round of the League. A good start proved decisive and thanks to a scoring blitz by Chantelle Wallace, who scored 4-1 and further contributions from Katie Brennan and Zara Gunner, Naomh Brid were comfortably ahead at half time. The second half followed a similar pattern and while the scoring was more modest, Kiara Walshe and Karen Delaney found the net before the end and there was never any doubt about the outcome. All of the players contributed to a solid team performance, with the half backs and midfielders ensuring a plentiful supply of the ball to the attack. Team – Thanh Phelan, Lauren Phelan, Karen Delaney, Niamh Morrissey, Sinead Walshe , Emer O’ Doherty, Katie Brophy, Katie Brennan , Eve Hegarty , Sheila Brophy, Zara Gunner, Mary- Kate Brennan, Imelda Lennon (Captain), Chantelle Wallace, Zoe Gleeson . Substitutes who played were – Kiara Walshe and Clodagh O’ Doherty. The selectors, Caroline Phelan, Brendan Walshe, Sandra Walshe and Aidan Morrissey were happy with this performance, but know that there are big challenges ahead. Thanks to Cloneen for a sporting game and to Eamonn Mansfield for refereeing, in his usual pleasant manner. The next League game is away to Lisdowney, @ 7 pm on Wednesday, May 22nd . All support would be welcome.
