St Anne’s Camogie Club - St Anne’s Camogie Club would like to extend its sincere thanks to all who supported its recent fund raising cake sale held in the Community Hall, Galmoy last Saturday.Thanks to all the families, club members, parents, players and supporters of the club who donated confectionary, biscuits breads and lovely cakes. Everything sold well and they were greatly appreciated by the organisers. Again thanks to everyone involved on the night...a great success.

Concern Fast - Peggy Sharkey will hold her annual fast in aid of Concern on Friday December 7. Peggy has been doing this concern fast for many years and all donations will be greatly appreciated. The monies raised will be used to help Concern in the work they do for people in the third world.

Whist DriVE - A Christmas Whist Drive will be held in St Mary’s Hall on next Friday December 7. First game at 8.30pm. Proceeds in aid of parish funds. Another Christmas Whist Drive on Saturday December 15 in aid of Rathdowney Church of Ireland Primary School. Loads of prizes!
First Holy Communion - The children who will receive the sacrament next May began their preparations on SatNight with an enrolment ceremony in the Church. The children concerned are Johnstown... Caretakers Collection - The annual collection for the caretaker of the grounds and cemetery of Crosspatrick Church well be held next Sunday December 9. A generous response is sought in view of the excellent standard maintained of the graves of those buried in the cemetery. Families are urged to show their appreciation of this work which always receives praise from visitors. Perhaps you could help by bringing the collection to the attention of relatives of the dead who no longer live in the area but who ought to appreciate the care of their graces.
